Well!! It was a super good week!!

Elder Blount and I lined two people up for baptism on June 2nd! We are super excited!! They are so ready. It is the family that we found when our recent convert came out with us he received inspiration and we found a recent convert family!! We are super happy. We also have a baptism this coming Saturday, so these next two weeks are going to be awesome!

Yesterday, we watched the temple dedication for the Jordan River temple. It was super good. President Eyring is the one who dedicated it. What was cool was that after the last dedication session, we (all the elders in our mission, and the west and south missions, so about 300 elders) got to help get the temple ready for the first session! We took out all the chairs from the session, and put in all the furniture and decorations! It was a ton of fun. The way we took out all the chairs is that we made a giant chain. Two of them to be exact. We passed the chairs from one elder to the next until it got all the way to the chapel about 3-400 yards away! It was pretty cool.

We had to leave early though because we had a baptism to go to for the sisters. It was crazy. On our way there the person who was supposed to be performing the ordinance called us and said he had an asthma attack and had to go to the hospital. So, because of emergency, I got to baptize him! It was super special.

Love you all!! Have a great week!

This week has gone pretty awesome! Taught my first actual lesson with a golden investigator, who we hope to baptize in 2 weeks! (He is in the plaid shirt in the photo) I also had my first baptism yesterday! It was amazing!  I am taking it easy, well trying to, we walk to the chapel to do splits and everytime I feel like I trip and hurt my ankle a little more, but I can feel it getting better. However, I am not taking ibuprofen...está bien! It doesn't hurt that much!  The church is in a circular form. We live about 5 minutes North East of the church, down a street called Juy Juy.  Honestly, I think Tuxtla is larger than Tucson! It is huge! And we are surrounded by mountains, if you think Tucson is surrounded, think again! I legit feel like we are in a bowl! It is green everywere! And even though we are finishing up mango season, we are still eating mangos everyday! It is really weird slurping a super juicy mango out of a hole! This is how we eat mangoes: ...

P-Day is Thursday this week because we are going to the temple that day, so P-Day was moved. Wow! This week was insane!! This will probably be my biggest email ever. As you all already know, we had transfers and we knew I was leaving but didn't know where. Monday night we found out I will be going to the Murray 2nd Ward! And my new companion will be Élder Solis! He was born and raised in Miami Florida, but his parents are from Guatemala. His first language is Spanish, and he just finished his training before I came so he has about 3 and a half months in the mission. He is awesome, loves swimming and volleyball, plus he is also a professional dancer. There are also sisters in the ward now as well because the area is huge. What stinks is that they are on bikes and we are in a car because of my ankle. I would love to drive them places if I could, but I can't. They are awesome though! Their names are Hermana Oteo who is from San Diego, but her parents are from Mexico. She ...
