Hello everyone!! So I don't have much to report this week.
First off, I am staying in the area for another transfer!! Elder Trincado is leaving, but we knew that either one or both of us are leaving. We have been together for 3 transfers which is a lot of time with one companion. But it has been fun!! We have truly seen a ton of miracles in this area and I look forward to seeing more miracles with my next companion!!
Also, Azure asked if I could give her the gift of the Holy Ghost and confirm her a member of the church!! I am super excited for her! She has been progressing very well, and LOVES coming to church. Look for pictures of her baptism next week!!
Love y'all.

Dear Elders and Sisters,
We are pleased to announce that effective July 1, 2018 the 9 proselyting missions headquartered in Utah will be consolidated into 8 missions. All of the changes in the Utah missions have been approved by the First Presidency and Quorum of the Twelve. The public announcement will appear in the Church News February 3rd. Our mission will include our current mission boundaries and in addition will be enlarged to include two additional coordinating councils in the existing Utah Salt Lake City Mission. This represents an additional 15 stakes. This addition includes the campus of the University of Utah, downtown Salt Lake City and the Rose Park area. Our mission name will be changed effective July 1, 2018 and be named the Utah Salt Lake City Mission.
This is an exciting opportunity for our mission. It is a blessing to have some time to prepare for this change and we invite and encourage all of you to become the very best missionaries that you can become so that we can be a great strength to the additional areas that we will be serving. The change and circumstances in our mission are very minimal and they should not cause uncertainty or anxiousness. We do not have any information on whether our compliment of missionaries will be adjusted.
We remind you to focus on the areas where you are serving and currently assigned. We express our love and gratitude to each one of you. We love and support all of you.
We testify that the missions of the church are led by God, through a prophet, and that He receives revelation to lead and bless our lives.
As we learn more details of this exciting change to our mission we let you know.
Sincerely,
President Brent J. Hillier and Sister Klaudette Hillier
