Monday, April 23, 2018 - In the Valley...

Well!! I am down in the valley now! I am back in the Union Fort Spanish area except this is now a ward!! I am so glad to be back in this area...but not back down in the valley. There are way too many missionaries! Nevertheless, I do not feel to murmur.

My companion's name is Elder Blount (pronounced Blunt)! I have met him once, maybe, but we get along super great and I am super excited for this transfer!! We have already made SO many goals to help improve this area and watch it grow. He is from Lawrenceville Suwanee, Georgia and has only been out for 8 months. We are both walking and on bikes!! I am so happy to start loosing weight now!!!

Anyways not much else to say because I got sick for 3 days haha, it got pretty bad. It happened our second night together, fun right?

Other than that I went on exchanges with Elder Solis!! We were so happy to see each other again! It is good to be back down in the valley. Sometimes ;)

Love y'all!!

This week has gone pretty awesome! Taught my first actual lesson with a golden investigator, who we hope to baptize in 2 weeks! (He is in the plaid shirt in the photo) I also had my first baptism yesterday! It was amazing!  I am taking it easy, well trying to, we walk to the chapel to do splits and everytime I feel like I trip and hurt my ankle a little more, but I can feel it getting better. However, I am not taking ibuprofen...está bien! It doesn't hurt that much!  The church is in a circular form. We live about 5 minutes North East of the church, down a street called Juy Juy.  Honestly, I think Tuxtla is larger than Tucson! It is huge! And we are surrounded by mountains, if you think Tucson is surrounded, think again! I legit feel like we are in a bowl! It is green everywere! And even though we are finishing up mango season, we are still eating mangos everyday! It is really weird slurping a super juicy mango out of a hole! This is how we eat mangoes: ...

P-Day is Thursday this week because we are going to the temple that day, so P-Day was moved. Wow! This week was insane!! This will probably be my biggest email ever. As you all already know, we had transfers and we knew I was leaving but didn't know where. Monday night we found out I will be going to the Murray 2nd Ward! And my new companion will be Élder Solis! He was born and raised in Miami Florida, but his parents are from Guatemala. His first language is Spanish, and he just finished his training before I came so he has about 3 and a half months in the mission. He is awesome, loves swimming and volleyball, plus he is also a professional dancer. There are also sisters in the ward now as well because the area is huge. What stinks is that they are on bikes and we are in a car because of my ankle. I would love to drive them places if I could, but I can't. They are awesome though! Their names are Hermana Oteo who is from San Diego, but her parents are from Mexico. She ...
