This week was pretty average. Until Sunday!! It was a pretty average week here in Murray. We didn't have any set appointments this week so we just went contacting and were able to set up appointments for this whole week!! I was super glad we were able to contact as many people as we did. That was a blessing.

On Sunday, a member brought 3 Chinese siblings to church with us. Now you might be thinking, who brings Chinese people to a Latino ward right? Well, it turns out that their Spanish is as good as my English! The whole ward was incredibly shocked!! And they only speak broken English which shocked us even more! They apparently stayed in Venezuela for several months and that is where they learned Spanish. They are originally from China too. The oldest is 24, then his brother is 22, and their sister is 13. They all speak 3 languages, except the sister. She speaks 4. Chinese, Spanish, English, and Italian!! And they all want to learn more languages. Anyways, they are super cool and super interested. The brother in our ward didn't even have to ask them if they wanted to come to church, they themselves asked if they could come with! So we are definitely going to be working with them more.

Also on Sunday, the sisters missionaries in our ward had a baptism. It was really good and didn't take more than 45 minutes, which is perfect. The person being baptized's name is Franklin. He is from Hermosillo, Mexico and has been in the states for about 6 years now. He has lived in both Miami and Houston, which both got flooded by hurricanes! Crazy. He is super awesome and has a really strong testimony of the Gospel. It was a perfect way to end an okay week.

This week has gone pretty awesome! Taught my first actual lesson with a golden investigator, who we hope to baptize in 2 weeks! (He is in the plaid shirt in the photo) I also had my first baptism yesterday! It was amazing!  I am taking it easy, well trying to, we walk to the chapel to do splits and everytime I feel like I trip and hurt my ankle a little more, but I can feel it getting better. However, I am not taking ibuprofen...está bien! It doesn't hurt that much!  The church is in a circular form. We live about 5 minutes North East of the church, down a street called Juy Juy.  Honestly, I think Tuxtla is larger than Tucson! It is huge! And we are surrounded by mountains, if you think Tucson is surrounded, think again! I legit feel like we are in a bowl! It is green everywere! And even though we are finishing up mango season, we are still eating mangos everyday! It is really weird slurping a super juicy mango out of a hole! This is how we eat mangoes: ...

P-Day is Thursday this week because we are going to the temple that day, so P-Day was moved. Wow! This week was insane!! This will probably be my biggest email ever. As you all already know, we had transfers and we knew I was leaving but didn't know where. Monday night we found out I will be going to the Murray 2nd Ward! And my new companion will be Élder Solis! He was born and raised in Miami Florida, but his parents are from Guatemala. His first language is Spanish, and he just finished his training before I came so he has about 3 and a half months in the mission. He is awesome, loves swimming and volleyball, plus he is also a professional dancer. There are also sisters in the ward now as well because the area is huge. What stinks is that they are on bikes and we are in a car because of my ankle. I would love to drive them places if I could, but I can't. They are awesome though! Their names are Hermana Oteo who is from San Diego, but her parents are from Mexico. She ...
