This week was an okay week. We didn't have very much success with finding new people, but we were able to go and give a blessing to someone who had her baby that very morning!! The baby's name is Oliver and he is super cute!! He has so much hair on his head too!! Anyways, that was a real blessing and a treat.

Skip forward a little bit, to Friday, Elder Solis and I were walking through a park to go tract in some nearby apartments. While on the way, there was a crack in the road, and I hurt my ankle again. It isn't as swollen as before down in Mexico. But it still hurts. I know that the Lord has something prepared for me, but I just don't know it yet.

This Sunday was Stake Conference, which was awesome! We had a Seventy come to it (not unusual at all in Salt Lake City after conference weekend) and he gave some awesome talks. At the end of the priesthood meeting, we sang one of my favorite hymns; Brightly Beams Our Father's Mercy. (Hymn #335) It was a special treat.

I love you all, and wish you all the best!!

This week has gone pretty awesome! Taught my first actual lesson with a golden investigator, who we hope to baptize in 2 weeks! (He is in the plaid shirt in the photo) I also had my first baptism yesterday! It was amazing!  I am taking it easy, well trying to, we walk to the chapel to do splits and everytime I feel like I trip and hurt my ankle a little more, but I can feel it getting better. However, I am not taking ibuprofen...está bien! It doesn't hurt that much!  The church is in a circular form. We live about 5 minutes North East of the church, down a street called Juy Juy.  Honestly, I think Tuxtla is larger than Tucson! It is huge! And we are surrounded by mountains, if you think Tucson is surrounded, think again! I legit feel like we are in a bowl! It is green everywere! And even though we are finishing up mango season, we are still eating mangos everyday! It is really weird slurping a super juicy mango out of a hole! This is how we eat mangoes: ...

P-Day is Thursday this week because we are going to the temple that day, so P-Day was moved. Wow! This week was insane!! This will probably be my biggest email ever. As you all already know, we had transfers and we knew I was leaving but didn't know where. Monday night we found out I will be going to the Murray 2nd Ward! And my new companion will be Élder Solis! He was born and raised in Miami Florida, but his parents are from Guatemala. His first language is Spanish, and he just finished his training before I came so he has about 3 and a half months in the mission. He is awesome, loves swimming and volleyball, plus he is also a professional dancer. There are also sisters in the ward now as well because the area is huge. What stinks is that they are on bikes and we are in a car because of my ankle. I would love to drive them places if I could, but I can't. They are awesome though! Their names are Hermana Oteo who is from San Diego, but her parents are from Mexico. She ...
