Wow I can't believe it is already transfers tomorrow. These 6 weeks have gone by super fast!! Well, the Peruvians didn't get baptized just because they don't have any church attendances. We are working with them on getting them to come to an English ward with a member who can translate.

The K family are going super strong. They will be baptized this Saturday and are super happy about that. Hermano K  is actually volunteering for services in the branch. That family is incredible.

Well, our district leader told us on Friday that the ZL's called him and said that I will be training and Elder Juarez will be leaving the area. So we waited for the exact details Saturday night. All we got was a text from the ZL's saying "Elders and Sisters, President Hillier is still contemplating on transfers so we will tell you tomorrow about transfers as soon as possible." If you can tell, that made us all the more curious right? We got a call from our DL the next morning before meetings and actually said that I am leaving and Elder Juarez is staying, but we didn't know if he is training or not. Literally as I was writing this email, President Hillier called us and told Elder Juarez that he is training!! We still don't know where I will be going though lol. Another Spanish Elder is leaving his area in Murray so I might go there. But they are also reopening Park City, and I might go there. We will find out tonight!!

I tried maté and liked it. It’s a tea from Argentina. We have a few Argentines in our branch. One served in Argentina (Buenos Aires) and married an awesome Argentine lady. It is actually the family I was talking about my first week here. The Gourley family. I am ending my transfer with them tonight. #nochedehogar

I am really sad to be leaving the area, and so are a lot of the members. But I am excited for new adventures.

OH! So the piano music you sent me, it is kinda... well... really easy...I have been playing on pdays when I can't play sports. I’m think I’m improving.

So that scripture I put is now one of my top 5 scriptures. I found it while doing the “Read the BoM before Easter” challenge. Are you guys doing it? When I started reading it, I tried reading it like I read the Ranger's series by being in the story myself. And it worked!!! I am at the end of Ether right now!!

Alma 29:9-10: 9 I know that which the Lord hath commanded me, and I glory in it. I do not glory of myself, but I glory in that which the Lord hath commanded me; yea, and this is my glory, that perhaps I may be an instrument in the hands of God to bring some soul to repentance; and this is my joy. 10 And behold, when I see many of my brethren truly penitent, and coming to the Lord their God, then is my soul filled with joy; then do I remember what the Lord has done for me, yea, even that he hath heard my prayer; yea, then do I remember his merciful arm which he extended towards me.

This week has gone pretty awesome! Taught my first actual lesson with a golden investigator, who we hope to baptize in 2 weeks! (He is in the plaid shirt in the photo) I also had my first baptism yesterday! It was amazing!  I am taking it easy, well trying to, we walk to the chapel to do splits and everytime I feel like I trip and hurt my ankle a little more, but I can feel it getting better. However, I am not taking ibuprofen...está bien! It doesn't hurt that much!  The church is in a circular form. We live about 5 minutes North East of the church, down a street called Juy Juy.  Honestly, I think Tuxtla is larger than Tucson! It is huge! And we are surrounded by mountains, if you think Tucson is surrounded, think again! I legit feel like we are in a bowl! It is green everywere! And even though we are finishing up mango season, we are still eating mangos everyday! It is really weird slurping a super juicy mango out of a hole! This is how we eat mangoes: ...

P-Day is Thursday this week because we are going to the temple that day, so P-Day was moved. Wow! This week was insane!! This will probably be my biggest email ever. As you all already know, we had transfers and we knew I was leaving but didn't know where. Monday night we found out I will be going to the Murray 2nd Ward! And my new companion will be Élder Solis! He was born and raised in Miami Florida, but his parents are from Guatemala. His first language is Spanish, and he just finished his training before I came so he has about 3 and a half months in the mission. He is awesome, loves swimming and volleyball, plus he is also a professional dancer. There are also sisters in the ward now as well because the area is huge. What stinks is that they are on bikes and we are in a car because of my ankle. I would love to drive them places if I could, but I can't. They are awesome though! Their names are Hermana Oteo who is from San Diego, but her parents are from Mexico. She ...
