Hello everyone!!

It is so great to hear how the Tucson Temple is coming along just great! The pictures look amazing! I hope you all will keep me updated on its progress!!

I want to let you all know that I will be heading back to Barrio Moctezuma tomorrow for transfers! Although Elder De Jesus isn't going to be my companion, he will always be my first companion. Another Elder, Elder Ortiz, is going to be my actual trainer. He is Latino, has 6 months in the mission, and knows very very little English, so I will have to step up my language game a ton! Especially after being with all the Americans in the offices.

I was able to go out and work with a Latino Elder from Canada on Saturday for 3 hours!! It was so much fun, all we did was go walk around and talk to people for 3 hours, and then eat an amazing lunch at a member's house. I contacted 3 people!! It felt amazing!! And for those who don't know what a contact is, it is someone who is a potential investigator, you have their name and address, and most of the time a phone number if they have one. We played a game where he would say a specific word, and I would have to contact the first person we came in contact with, and then I could do the same with a different word. It was very effective.

I can't wait to go back out and work! While I have been here, I have been able to do three sessions in the Tuxtla temple, and baptize 20 people who were doing baptisms for the dead. That was an incredible experience!! The Spanish language really is a wonderful language and I am glad I get to learn it.

The reason that they are having difficulties sending packages to Chiapas is because there is an uprising from the school teachers down here and they even have blockades surrounding Tuxtla, none of the big semis are getting through

Love you all, and I look forward to the telling of my experiences next week!!

(p.s. I don't have any pictures to show this week :\ sorry!)

This week has gone pretty awesome! Taught my first actual lesson with a golden investigator, who we hope to baptize in 2 weeks! (He is in the plaid shirt in the photo) I also had my first baptism yesterday! It was amazing!  I am taking it easy, well trying to, we walk to the chapel to do splits and everytime I feel like I trip and hurt my ankle a little more, but I can feel it getting better. However, I am not taking ibuprofen...está bien! It doesn't hurt that much!  The church is in a circular form. We live about 5 minutes North East of the church, down a street called Juy Juy.  Honestly, I think Tuxtla is larger than Tucson! It is huge! And we are surrounded by mountains, if you think Tucson is surrounded, think again! I legit feel like we are in a bowl! It is green everywere! And even though we are finishing up mango season, we are still eating mangos everyday! It is really weird slurping a super juicy mango out of a hole! This is how we eat mangoes: ...

P-Day is Thursday this week because we are going to the temple that day, so P-Day was moved. Wow! This week was insane!! This will probably be my biggest email ever. As you all already know, we had transfers and we knew I was leaving but didn't know where. Monday night we found out I will be going to the Murray 2nd Ward! And my new companion will be Élder Solis! He was born and raised in Miami Florida, but his parents are from Guatemala. His first language is Spanish, and he just finished his training before I came so he has about 3 and a half months in the mission. He is awesome, loves swimming and volleyball, plus he is also a professional dancer. There are also sisters in the ward now as well because the area is huge. What stinks is that they are on bikes and we are in a car because of my ankle. I would love to drive them places if I could, but I can't. They are awesome though! Their names are Hermana Oteo who is from San Diego, but her parents are from Mexico. She ...
