Hello everyone! Good news is that I have already lost 35 pounds in the mission and am now at 215 pounds! I think I might need to get some new pants soon. I don't know how I have lost that much already from sitting around all day, and from being only in the mission for 2 months, but I am not complaining...yet.
Some more good news, kind of, is that my ankle feels better, it doesn't really hurt that much anymore going up and down the stairs! But, I am still confined in a wheelchair. It isn't a ton of fun, but the doctor told me as minimal walking as I can.
I am still here at the mission office, and have hopes to be returning to my area this week. Although my companion is starting to have problems with his knee and the doctor told him that he needs to be resting for a little bit, so we will see how that goes. And if my ankle still hurts even a little bit we are going to see the doctor again. I will keep you all updated.
This past week I got very sick. I had diarrhea with blood, and vomiting, and body quakes, and over a 101 fever. In one day, I went to the bathroom 28 different times. It wasn't fun. I am doing a whole lot better now. We think it was just the food and that my body is still getting used to it. But, Élder Tauanuu, and Élder Martin (2 American Elders from my generation) also got sick. Élder Tauanuu's throat was so swollen and bleeding a few days ago that he could barely open it, and Élder Martin was puking so much blood that Presidente sent him to the hospital. They are both back in their areas right now and doing much better!
Here in the offices it gets really boring sometimes, as y'all can imagine. I am normally sleeping on a couch, reading scriptures, or talking with the Élderes that are here in the offices. It is really nice when they are here and they are all so awesome and supportive! I love them all.

Good news! I believe I will be able to send you guys my pictures I have on my GoPro! They are from the CCM but who doesn't like looking at pictures am I right?

¡Les amo!

This week has gone pretty awesome! Taught my first actual lesson with a golden investigator, who we hope to baptize in 2 weeks! (He is in the plaid shirt in the photo) I also had my first baptism yesterday! It was amazing!  I am taking it easy, well trying to, we walk to the chapel to do splits and everytime I feel like I trip and hurt my ankle a little more, but I can feel it getting better. However, I am not taking ibuprofen...está bien! It doesn't hurt that much!  The church is in a circular form. We live about 5 minutes North East of the church, down a street called Juy Juy.  Honestly, I think Tuxtla is larger than Tucson! It is huge! And we are surrounded by mountains, if you think Tucson is surrounded, think again! I legit feel like we are in a bowl! It is green everywere! And even though we are finishing up mango season, we are still eating mangos everyday! It is really weird slurping a super juicy mango out of a hole! This is how we eat mangoes: ...

P-Day is Thursday this week because we are going to the temple that day, so P-Day was moved. Wow! This week was insane!! This will probably be my biggest email ever. As you all already know, we had transfers and we knew I was leaving but didn't know where. Monday night we found out I will be going to the Murray 2nd Ward! And my new companion will be Élder Solis! He was born and raised in Miami Florida, but his parents are from Guatemala. His first language is Spanish, and he just finished his training before I came so he has about 3 and a half months in the mission. He is awesome, loves swimming and volleyball, plus he is also a professional dancer. There are also sisters in the ward now as well because the area is huge. What stinks is that they are on bikes and we are in a car because of my ankle. I would love to drive them places if I could, but I can't. They are awesome though! Their names are Hermana Oteo who is from San Diego, but her parents are from Mexico. She ...
