¡Hola!

This week has been fun! I love being district leader! It is awesome. And the work has been amazing. The Spirit is so strong even in role plays. It is crazy to think I only have 11 more days in the CCM!

The devotional this week was about missionary work. Someone from the area 70 came to speak with us! It was an amazing talk. He showed us a really funny video called "Partly Cloudy".

The only downside to this week was that I got sick, only for a couple days. It was just a normal stomach flu, maybe because I ate something.

Our district is getting into the love life of our teachers. It is really fun. One of our teachers is already married though. The other one just has un novio (boyfriend), and we talk with him all the time. He and I actually have a handshake!

Spanish is coming along great! Our Hermanas are finally getting things! I am really proud of them. They are awesome and hardworking.

My companion and I get along great! He is actually going to help me and another Hermana by accompanying us when we sing "Señor, Te Necesito" this Sunday for everyone! I think it is going to be awesome. We sound really good.

I love the videos that they show here. One of the videos we watched this Sunday was "Only A Stone Cutter". I love that movie!

Today we went to the visitor's center because the temple is closed for cleaning. It was disappointing, but the visitor's center was really cool! We found out that it is the place that the church tests all the new technology.

I love this Gospel, it truly is amazing and I am still seeing it bless other's lives today, including mine.

Love you all!

This week has gone pretty awesome! Taught my first actual lesson with a golden investigator, who we hope to baptize in 2 weeks! (He is in the plaid shirt in the photo) I also had my first baptism yesterday! It was amazing!  I am taking it easy, well trying to, we walk to the chapel to do splits and everytime I feel like I trip and hurt my ankle a little more, but I can feel it getting better. However, I am not taking ibuprofen...está bien! It doesn't hurt that much!  The church is in a circular form. We live about 5 minutes North East of the church, down a street called Juy Juy.  Honestly, I think Tuxtla is larger than Tucson! It is huge! And we are surrounded by mountains, if you think Tucson is surrounded, think again! I legit feel like we are in a bowl! It is green everywere! And even though we are finishing up mango season, we are still eating mangos everyday! It is really weird slurping a super juicy mango out of a hole! This is how we eat mangoes: ...

P-Day is Thursday this week because we are going to the temple that day, so P-Day was moved. Wow! This week was insane!! This will probably be my biggest email ever. As you all already know, we had transfers and we knew I was leaving but didn't know where. Monday night we found out I will be going to the Murray 2nd Ward! And my new companion will be Élder Solis! He was born and raised in Miami Florida, but his parents are from Guatemala. His first language is Spanish, and he just finished his training before I came so he has about 3 and a half months in the mission. He is awesome, loves swimming and volleyball, plus he is also a professional dancer. There are also sisters in the ward now as well because the area is huge. What stinks is that they are on bikes and we are in a car because of my ankle. I would love to drive them places if I could, but I can't. They are awesome though! Their names are Hermana Oteo who is from San Diego, but her parents are from Mexico. She ...
