Hello Everyone!

On our first P-Day we went to the temple! It was pretty big; 4 stories and even had escalators! Which was weird. I listened to the session in English though (they have headphones). I promised mi maestros that I would listen to it in spanish next time. It was beautiful though! Everything had to do with the Myans in the decorations! It was amazing! I listened to headphones though ... but I will listen in Spanish next time. It was really hard because the helper was giving me 5 words at a time, pretty fast too! All I did was say something like it and he was like "uh-huh". It is around the same size3 as the Gilbert temple, just a little bigger. It's 40 minutes away from the CCM, but it was cool torque we were singing all the way there!

The tienda (store) es mi amigo. Everything is so cheap! I got a liter Gatorade for under a dollar! I love it! They have peach rings here! They are super good! So is the food. It just keeps getting better and better! We have Costco pizza every Tuesday night, and hamburgers every Sunday night! It's so good!

My Spanish is getting much better! I can mostly speak in the lesson without looking in the PME or in folletos (brochures)! What helps everyday is that my companion and I only speak Spanish every Wednesday. That helps a lot. So does talking with the Latino missionaries. We do that every night for 45 minutes! One of them actually learned enough English to say a prayer directly from memory! It was awesome. Another Latino Élder was having trouble saying "tree" and "three". It was quite funny.

We have dos mas investigadores! Fernanda y Cristian. Fernanda has a drinking problem, and Cristian thinks God is mad at him. But, they're awesome.

Yesterday we did something cool. It is called TRC. It is where you have the oportunidad to teach a member, less active, or real investigador. Thankfully there were only miembros ayer. It was a good experience though!

Sundays are awesome. Todos los domingos, we watch a video. The first week, like I said was the Restauración. This past domingo, it was Meet the Mormons! It rains todos los notes pero esta may calor durante el Dia.

Tuesdays are cool too! We have devotionals every Tuesday night. It is mostly someone from the 70, or the area authority. But, the week before I got here, Élder Holland came down! I was so sad I didn't get to meet him.

Love you all! I can't wait to get out there and teach!

This week has gone pretty awesome! Taught my first actual lesson with a golden investigator, who we hope to baptize in 2 weeks! (He is in the plaid shirt in the photo) I also had my first baptism yesterday! It was amazing!  I am taking it easy, well trying to, we walk to the chapel to do splits and everytime I feel like I trip and hurt my ankle a little more, but I can feel it getting better. However, I am not taking ibuprofen...está bien! It doesn't hurt that much!  The church is in a circular form. We live about 5 minutes North East of the church, down a street called Juy Juy.  Honestly, I think Tuxtla is larger than Tucson! It is huge! And we are surrounded by mountains, if you think Tucson is surrounded, think again! I legit feel like we are in a bowl! It is green everywere! And even though we are finishing up mango season, we are still eating mangos everyday! It is really weird slurping a super juicy mango out of a hole! This is how we eat mangoes: ...

P-Day is Thursday this week because we are going to the temple that day, so P-Day was moved. Wow! This week was insane!! This will probably be my biggest email ever. As you all already know, we had transfers and we knew I was leaving but didn't know where. Monday night we found out I will be going to the Murray 2nd Ward! And my new companion will be Élder Solis! He was born and raised in Miami Florida, but his parents are from Guatemala. His first language is Spanish, and he just finished his training before I came so he has about 3 and a half months in the mission. He is awesome, loves swimming and volleyball, plus he is also a professional dancer. There are also sisters in the ward now as well because the area is huge. What stinks is that they are on bikes and we are in a car because of my ankle. I would love to drive them places if I could, but I can't. They are awesome though! Their names are Hermana Oteo who is from San Diego, but her parents are from Mexico. She ...
