Hello everyone! This week was pretty fun!

We went on exchanges with the elders in our district on Tuesday and Wednesday, which was pretty fun! I went with Elder Montaño, the taller Mexican from the wolf pack if you remember that. He is super cool! Amazing conversion story. He is 25 years old, and was baptized about a year and a half ago. He is from Hermosillo, Mexico, but moved to Phoenix after he was baptized. And he decided to serve a mission after he hit his year mark in the church. We already know each other pretty well. We were able to talk to a lot of people just walking around. Everyone was either at a pool, or going to the pools in one apartment complex, so we were able to do a lot of street contacting. We met a lot of interesting people.

Then, on Friday and Saturday, we went on exchanges with our zone leaders! That was pretty fun too! I went with Elder Bermudez, who was my first district leader in the Spanish Zone. He is pretty cool. We went tracting a lot, and didn't really find that much success. It was alright though, we met some new faces which was fun enough. On Friday evenings their ward plays soccer, so we went and played soccer with them. The whole ward doesn't go, just those people who like playing soccer. So you have the older guys who are really good, the middle aged guys who are also good, and the youth who think they are good but are just faster than the older guys lol. We played adults against the youth, and we kind of crushed them, even though the teams were split evenly numbers wise. We won 11-5. There was actually a foul that the youth called on us, and one of the adults told me, "En mi tiempo, si la sangre no salió, no fue un foul." Which means that in his time, if there was no blood then it wasn't a foul! Haha it was funny.

Today is Elder Gonzalez's birthday! We are going to go to a Brazilian Grill for lunch, and to a bowling alley after that today! It is going to be super fun.

Oh yeah! Y'all might want to know about transfers. Elder Gonzalez and I are both staying together! We are actually pretty happy about that. In fact, our whole district besides one elder is staying the same! There really isn't very many changes in the Spanish Zone this transfer. Only 5-6 people are getting transferred, and there is only one new Spanish sister coming in to the mission. One of our zone leaders has been in the area he is in for about 1 year and 4 months, it is crazy! And he is still staying there! He has 2 transfers left in the mission.

Love you all!

Matthew 6: 19-21 - Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

This week has gone pretty awesome! Taught my first actual lesson with a golden investigator, who we hope to baptize in 2 weeks! (He is in the plaid shirt in the photo) I also had my first baptism yesterday! It was amazing!  I am taking it easy, well trying to, we walk to the chapel to do splits and everytime I feel like I trip and hurt my ankle a little more, but I can feel it getting better. However, I am not taking ibuprofen...está bien! It doesn't hurt that much!  The church is in a circular form. We live about 5 minutes North East of the church, down a street called Juy Juy.  Honestly, I think Tuxtla is larger than Tucson! It is huge! And we are surrounded by mountains, if you think Tucson is surrounded, think again! I legit feel like we are in a bowl! It is green everywere! And even though we are finishing up mango season, we are still eating mangos everyday! It is really weird slurping a super juicy mango out of a hole! This is how we eat mangoes: ...

P-Day is Thursday this week because we are going to the temple that day, so P-Day was moved. Wow! This week was insane!! This will probably be my biggest email ever. As you all already know, we had transfers and we knew I was leaving but didn't know where. Monday night we found out I will be going to the Murray 2nd Ward! And my new companion will be Élder Solis! He was born and raised in Miami Florida, but his parents are from Guatemala. His first language is Spanish, and he just finished his training before I came so he has about 3 and a half months in the mission. He is awesome, loves swimming and volleyball, plus he is also a professional dancer. There are also sisters in the ward now as well because the area is huge. What stinks is that they are on bikes and we are in a car because of my ankle. I would love to drive them places if I could, but I can't. They are awesome though! Their names are Hermana Oteo who is from San Diego, but her parents are from Mexico. She ...
